Yeah, probably that would help. But some athletes from these clubs also get formal military ranks, I'm not sure how World Aquatics will estimate this.

dullard reacted to Josh in Swimming WA World Cup 2024
Another two WR’s so far in Singapore, and Marchand’s is arguably the most impressive ones of the entire Series (alongside Douglass’s recent one probably)
Leon Marchand smoked Ryan Lochte’s WR (1:49.63) in the men’s 200m individual medley, becoming the first man to swim under 1:49 at 1:48.88. Noe Ponti went 21.50 in the men’s 50m butterfly, undercutting his previous WR mark of 21.67 from Shanghai.

dullard got a reaction from phelps in Summer Olympic Games Brisbane 2032 News
Now that the election has passed I think they'll go for a new stadium in Victoria Park. They were only being non-committal about their plans because building a new stadium in Brisbane is a vote loser in the northern part of the state. Rebuilding the Gabba just has too many problems including making AFL and cricket homeless during the rebuild.

dullard reacted to Monzanator in Athletics 2024 Discussion Thread
If using decathlon/heptathlon points tables this Chepngetich run would be worth 1339 points which makes this the third highest scored WR among all women events.
For comparison the hightest scoring WR is Reinsch in the discus worth 1382 points. Lisovskaya in the shot put is 1372 points. Chistyakova in the long jump is 1333 points. So we're all talking good old & school of athletics
Among the men Duplantis' current pole vault WR is also worth 1339 points. The highest scoring WR is Zelezny in the javelin 1362 points. Bolt's 100/200 records, Powell in long jump and Warholm in 400h are also higher scored if barely.
