whenever we participate in athletics competition at the Asian Games. half of our athletes leave the stadium directly to the hospital ! and it didn't change this year. so far 1 out of 1 for the hospital

I was checking Pencak silat results and I see Indonesia is undefeated so far ! with two more QFs to go. all of their athletes made it to the semifinal .all of them won their matches 5-0 (means they got all judges) I wonder if they show some kind of modesty or they are going to win all 16 gold medals ! among all OCA decisions this one was the worse letting them add a sport with 16 events !

second. Sorn won gold medal in Taekwondo back in 2014 Incheon. I remember that very well since she beat an Iranian girl in the final btw this girl Jessa Khan also beat an Iranian in her way to the final ! so looks like we are a lucky draw for Cambodia

since the official website sucks big time I always make list of our athletes in action for the next day to sort them by time etc. and surprisingly we have only few athletes in action for tomorrow ! but at least 3 of them are strong gold medal favorites in Weightlifting and Karate. even though Karate is highly unpredictable but if we are going to win few golds in Karate, Abbasali and Ganjzadeh are our best chance. plus Sohrab Moradi's gold in weightlifting is almost a sure thing.

I don't know why I'm watching our handball ! I guess I'm a masochist because I always know they are going to lose but gave myself false hope that this time will be different ! at the end of 1st half South Korea scored a goal from half the court while the keeper was in the goal (not an empty goal I mean) it just shows how pathetic is this team.

Gold for Iraq in weightlifting China's suspension didn't change a damn thing for Iran since Makvandi bombed out but I'm glad Iraqi guy took the gold.

Clean sweep in Kabaddi looks like we can keep the 4th place in medal table at least for one more day btw since I like statistics that women's kabaddi gold was only Iran's 5th gold medal won by women ! Fencing 1974 Wushu 2010 Shooting and Karate 2014 and Kabaddi 2018

I said that before. Jujitsu is very very huge in UAE. they lobbied OCA to add it to the Games and will dominate the competition. but that Cambodian girl is pretty good. I mean too good. maybe we are only couple hours away from 2nd ever gold medal for Cambodia

I wasn't expecting a brilliant performance from our cyclists. but they are beyond disastrous so far. I know they had some back luck in MTB but road results were unbelievable. being behind Chinese Taipei in time trial ?! this is something new I'm also not that confident about the track results. the only realistic chance is in madison. but I think for the first time in history we will go home empty handed in Cycling ! (we also had one cyclist in 1951 AG who failed to win anything but I think that doesn't count)

Eugen Wacker in his 5467th Asian Games but looks like no medal this time ! He won silver medal in last 4 editions of the Asian Games in ITT. such a consistent cyclist

I agree but since we were in the winning side this time I take that gold medal but in general I don't like the speed competition format. I think finals at least should be best of 3. or maybe the whole competition being best of 3.

Indonesia added this weird event to win a medal but after all it helped Saudis winning a silver

they were awarding one bronze until 2006. (before that we had the competition in round robin. and no need for a separate bronze medal match) btw. I watched a clash between them but in Handball. and unblievably both teams were damn serious like they are playing for a gold medal (that was for finishing 10th or 11th) and when India won by a goal after scoring a very late winner. they were celebrating like hell. and Pakis were angry like they lost a big thing

I don't know if you are making a joke or you are really asking but there is no bronze medal match in Kabaddi for a weird reason they give joint bronze medals. which I can't understand in a team sport. they do the same at the World Cup too. not just an AG thing

the first line is mandatory to cross. if attacker goes back to his own court without crossing that . he is out and 1 point for the defending team oh no. they can tackle him at any time. sometimes they just don't want to take that risk

so I should stop cursing the Iranian channels we have less info about events in Palembang. the coverage in Jakarta is apparently much better but it means also no coverage for Canoeing that was one of my favorite sports in the Games.

so we finished the Rowing competition with 3 silver and 1 bronze. all of them won by the girls ! our men's team failed miserably. I made a prediction here earlier so far the only sport failed to win that number of gold medal is Rowing .I was expecting 1 or 2 golds here , but actually the main gold medal hope was Nazanin Malaei and we didn't expect China to enter a rower in this category. with a limit number of 11 events max for each country to enter, they usually don't enter in single sculls event but they surprised us by entering a very good rower who beat Malaei for the gold. I think Lwt Quadruple sculls was the most possible gold without China in the competition. but they lost it narrowly to Vietnam.

and we have Jujitsu on Channel 6, the most stupidest sport ever ! it's like two baby cats playing with each other

I never saw anything from Rowing. I wonder if there is even TV coverage for that

I make it short how to score in Kabaddi of course if you touch as many players of the defending team and makes it back to your own court. if you go 2 raids without scoring or giving up points, the 3rd raid you should score otherwise you are out and 1 point for the defending team. if the defending team catch the attacking player that's 1 point but if the defending team does it with 3 or less players that's super tackle and gives them 2 points. when all 7 players are out for a team. that's Luna and 2 extra points. there is a "bonus" line (the 2nd line) if you touch behind that line while the defending team has 6 or 7 players. that's also a point. bonus doesn't exist when the opposite team has less than 6 players.
