  1. They are athletes which have the minimum pts for qualifying through the D.1 way for Poland in the qualifying rules. I would say FIS marked them like a "lower border" with their pts for the country. But of course Poland's federation can use anybody through the D.1 way who is upper of this border. You can find them if you click on Poland's number in the total column. After that change "Display" to "Only the not used for quota calculation".

Shipulin and Fourcade Reconcile with Handshake After an intense exchange of comments between France’s Martin Fourcade and Russia’s Anton Shipulin at the press conference following the mixed relay on Thursday; both sides cooled down. They talked it out and got together during today’s sprint competition at the IBU World Championships in Hochfilzen. The two biathlon stars greeted each other, shook hands and hugged today after some tense moments two days ago.

  6. Belarus lost to Germany and relegated to Group B. And no surprises in the semifinals. But Finland created some problems to Russia. Russia won 6:4 and will play with Sweden, which looks very powerful at this tournament.

After the first half it was 4:0, but Norway did a comeback. It's the first time when Norway in the top-4 after 1999.   10. Still no surprises in the pool A. Russia has defeated Finland 6:2. Sweden won too. In the pool B Norway won again. But Germany lost to Belarus only in the penalty shoot-out.

  22. Yes It's the fourth world championships with this system. Last year Finland lost 4 games and won only 2, but they were with silver medals.
  23. Ross Brawn said that he would like to bring the old sound back. This is the main thing but it will be only in 2021.
  24. Somalia lost 0:15 and 0:20 in their games in the first day. Probably they and China won't be in play-off. Tomorrow they plays to fight each other.
