  1. Greg Rutherford is basically saying Britain does not have good grass-root athletics and there is not even enough world class junior British Athletes coming through. Seb Coe has sort of confirmed that DSD athletes will in time be banned from the 200m. Through what happens if one of them breaks the WR before that time.
  2. On Eurosport Greg Rutherford said he hopes Nick Miller wins a major championship medal in the next couple of years. Is that likely - he feels a bit old to improve his form to that level.
  3. You will be pleased to hear British Eurosport have just said Poland have had a fantastic Athletics so far.
  4. Lol. My parents were actually calling for the 800m women to be added to the GB 4x400 squad.
  5. The BBC are not actually showing it live atm as I believe The show jumping is on ( I have Eurosport on).
  6. I think the head of GB athletics will resign on Sunday - allowing three high profile injured athletes to compete will bring major questions about how few medal hopes there is in the GB squad atm.
  7. Track Cycling and Short Track Speed Skating are so annoying with those frequent impossible to notice while watching the race DQ’s
  8. The UCI can’t be happy with the BBC website - almost entirely United in anger against them due to Marchant getting relegated while the Danes did not yesterday.
  9. I mean it’s not easy to prove it was fixed just by racing actions.
  10. How could that be proven? I thought the protest would be because of some possible racing rule infringement.
  11. The BBC are outright accusing the judges of being biased towards British riders.
  12. Him and KJT train at the same centre - not a great day for them so far.
  13. On the BBC Denise Lewis said she supports the super spikes as long as everyone is able to access them
  14. GB will win no medals in track cycling in Paris - I feel a dramatic rise is now going to be followed by a dramatic fall.
  15. The BBC highlights gave the mild impression Denmark should have been DQ and GB should have been in the final. No clear mention of how poor GB’s time was before the catch and how far away from the bronze race they were.
  16. I’m not sure the pandemic can be blamed as the sport has been excellent and the lack of crowd not that noticeable.
  17. Through in the case they should do all the events like that - you could even have the jump’s combined with both going at the same time.
  18. Same as the Americans. Semenya beating Mu would have set them off.
  19. British Cycling performance director Stephen Park also confirmed they were one of "several" teams to call for the Danes to be penalised for the use of illegal equipment in Monday's qualifying session. The world champions wore plasters on their shins in a bid to improve their aerodynamics, while apparently wearing undervests which had not been properly registered in time. Park said that at a meeting of teams before Tuesday's cycling session, the UCI confirmed the equipment could not be used for the rest of the competition but indicated there would be no retroactive punishment, despite rules saying a team should face elimination in such circumstances. "There was a fairly heated debate about whether the UCI were or were not going to apply their own rules about [the tape] and about undervests," Park said.
  20. Team GB saying they not happy at Denmark not being DQ.
  21. I didn’t actually hear her say it but Eurosport apologised for swearing in the pole vault earlier.,
  22. Thank you. I was impressed with her at the European Indoors and since then I’ve had a feeling she was going to have a good games.
  23. Thank you for saying GBR are a powerhouse - we haven’t won a medal in the event since 1960.
