  1. I personally think we have one of the best song in years... hopefully we'll also get a good place Michał - good luck!
  2. What a game betwedn & so far a fery closr match, but only half a set has passed and there alreadu have been 4-5 really long rallies and most actions are really beautifully played. The best match of the day so far...
  3. Right now ? Volleyball, volleyball and more volleyball currently - the semifinal Germany vs Germany in women's Antalya Open . And I think it will stay that way for a good few days, as the decisive OQTs are played in Japan. However I am alo planning to watch the decisive matches of Ice Hockey World Championships and go live to a national triathlon competition which will take place in a few days in my town.
  4. Now 16-5 for Netherlands. Probably the end of match and as expected Netherlands win. That second set though...
  5. 8-2 for Kazakhstan in the 2nd set after losing the first one 25-12
  6. amazing start & 3-1 win versus ! Hopefully they'll be able to advance to the olympics for the first time ever Now Good Luck !
  7. Wait, I Thought that if an Asian team will be alongside top 3, then it won't be counted as the best asian, but as one of the top 3 Teams in World Qualification Tournament, and the 2nd Asian team will therefore also qualify as the winner of Asian Qualification, regardless of what position they'll take ? I might be wrong, though. Man, these rules are so damn complicated this year... Hopefully next olympics wil have decent qulification process.
  8. No chance probably to qualify for Too bad, cause they really made some amazing progress in recent years ( 7th place in WCH 2014 - their best result ever) , then 7th place at last year's world cup - also best result ever - and they really have had their best chance to qualify in many years at the last year's North American QT. That's even more sad because also the popularity of volley seemed to really be on the rise there and the people who already aare fans seem to really love their team. Now they'll have most likely to beat Iran & Japan, and hope to take 3rd position in the tournament , PLUS also hope the best Asian team will finish 4th at best. I can see them beating Japan, but sadly not Iran Plus also they matches versus Poland & France will probably be much harder for them than for
  9. 6-1 after 1/3rd of the game if only we'd beat Italy i the opening match... At the other hand, I think the rules are a bit unfair... the Goal Difference should be more important then the results of head to head match. And no, i don't mean it only because can't qualify for next years higher division already ( but yes, it does prove how unfair the system is) and i dont mean only Ice Hockey, but every sport where these kind of rules apply.
  10. Alexander Markin found innocent by FiVB in the Meldonium doping Case The Russian player will play in Rio de Janeiro olympics
  11. And of course as Always just after i cricitized a team for its weak playing then it started to play much better congrats Slovenia!
  12. Korea scored the first goal against Slovenia only 40 seconds after the beggining of the match What happened to since monday ?
  13. Congrats Good results for us too, now we'll only have to win against Chile
  14. Go Tunisia Hopefully they'll beat and make our path to Rio much easier too 17-10 is a good result as for half time, but they could've lead by 8 or 9 goals, and I was kinda hoping they'll score 20 goals in 30 minutes
  15. Two major changes! via cev.lu CEV unveils new format for Champions League Luxembourg, March 30, 2016. The 2017 edition of Europe’s elite competition, the CEV Volleyball Champions League, will coincide with yet another milestone in European Volleyball history. The CEV Board of Administration agreed earlier this month upon a revised competition format which opens participation to each national champion and as a result the 2017 edition will be spreading a real Volleyball fever across the whole of Europe. It was decided to revise the format of the CEV Volleyball Champions League and the participation criteria some 16 years after Europe’s elite competition was first introduced following in the footsteps of the CEV Champions Cup. The format The 2017 CEV Volleyball Champions League is split down as follows: - A 1st, 2nd and 3rd Round open to all National Federations and consisting of home and away matches; the number of teams competing at this stage will depend on the eventual registrations; teams losing in these rounds will be moved to the draw of the 2017 CEV Volleyball Cup, but other than this there is no further interconnection among the three European Cups. Should more than eight losers be required to move, an additional round will be played in the CEV Volleyball Cup. Within a specific round ‘byes’ will be awarded to the higher-ranked teams but after this it will be an open draw to determine the various ties- A 4th Round including 12 seeded teams per gender plus eight and four qualifying through the previous rounds in the men’s and women’s competition, respectively; at this stage of the competition, teams will be divided into pools of four each to play a double round robin- A Playoff Phase including Playoffs 12 and Playoffs 6 for the men and Playoffs 6 only for the women, to be contested as home and away matches that will determine the teams joining the organisers of the Final Four tournaments- The format of the Final Four remains unchanged, with the only exception being the possibility for two teams from the same country to be able to contest the gold medal match (i.e. they won’t have to cross their ways in the semis as up to now) The composition The 12 teams per gender seeded directly in the 4th Round are determined as per the latest European Cups’ Ranking List (which is available right here and considers results from the 2012, 2013 and 2014 seasons) according to the following clauses: - Two teams for the National Federations ranked 1 to 4 - One team for the National Federations ranked 5 to 8 All ranked 9 and above National Federations are entitled to register their 2016 national champion as long as they fulfil all set requirements. And: EuroVolley to feature 24 teams from 2019 Luxembourg, April 1, 2016. Only a couple of days after unveiling the revised format of its elite club competition, the CEV Volleyball Champions League, there is additional ‘hot’ news for all fans of the sport, this time dealing with the flagship competition for national teams, i.e. the biennial CEV Volleyball European Championships. Following an extensive review of the competition and after closely liaising with a number of stakeholders, a decision has been made to increase the number of teams participating in the Final Round to 24 and the number of organisers up to a maximum of four. Both these decisions were made in an effort to maximise the competition’s exposure across the whole of Europe. This increase will allow eight additional National Federations for each edition to experience and utilise the stage which the EuroVolley Final Round presents to further promote Volleyball in their countries. This provision will enter into force starting with the 2019 edition of Europe’s flagship competition for national teams. The CEV Board of Administration have now asked the European Sports Organising Commission (ESOC) to produce a complete technical concept, which will be analysed and eventually endorsed at the Board of Administration meeting scheduled for June 10-11 in Rome, Italy. Following the eventual approval of this concept in June, the CEV will open the candidature process where National Federations are expected to join forces in order to apply for the right to host this high-profile competition in 2019 and beyond. The CEV will be closely working with the eventual organisers and support them in the delivery of the ultimate Volleyball show in Europe. Some great changes are coming :)
  16. My heart's already beating so fast Go Skra Do something impossible
  17. Well I don't know if they broadcast Cli for sure (but i think i saw part of their coverage from the World games 2013 on some video hosting website, but can't seem to find it at the moment ) However they definitely broadcasted some events in 2005 and even back in Lahti 1997 So hopefully they'll show some evnts from the upcoming games too .
  18. Well, Eurosport did broadcast at least a part of previous editions of world games , so hopefully this time too they will show some of the events across europe.
  19. I can't wait for next year's World Games in Poland It'll be a great opportunit to watch some lesser known sports live. I hope many nations will secure quotas.
  20. Whoa We actually managed to draw in the closing seconds Hopefully we'll be able to defeat Brazilstan at their home ground and for the second time in history advance to world championship finals
  21. Congrats Hopefully PGE Skra Belchatow will join you tommorow
  22. The final tournament of European League will be hosted by Varna, Bulgaria i just can't understand CEV/ FiVB anymore. HOW Exactly do they want to promote volleyball, when almost every tournament, important or not important, is hosted by the same group of countries (Poland, Italy, Brazil, Bulgaria & Japan) and they do not offer basically any legal way to watch the games, especially CEV? Even if they suspect the turnout wouldn't be very big in Albania, Estonia etc it's THEIR freakin' job as sports federation to make sure it will be at least acceptable.
  23. Total domination by France They basically crushed all other nations
