  1. If it came to pass then yes this would be the worst ever change to the Olympics to date. Mixed NOC teams, who cares about that So along with urban and youthful they should mention the word mixed, because they like that a LOT! I highly doubt this will happen though.
  2. My condolences to the Mexican people for this awful tragedy
  3. Those two are indeed much more exciting and more prestigious. The Premier League is very prestigious too but it doesn't appeal to me as a spectacle.... it drags out way too long and features the same faces each week. The quality is usually fantastic though. I used to watch it religiously every week, then I started recording it to watch on less busy nights and eventually in recent years just stopped watching as there was always something on and I didn't feel the need to catch up on the action I missed. Darts is very similar to snooker for me, I love both and will binge majorly on the few major events (about 4 in each in terms of what I watch). The more minor tournaments or the lesser "big" tournaments don't interest me at all and same goes with the Premier Leagues (snooker had it too for some years).
  4. Yes, exactly why I couldn't give a damn about the Premier League, I find it boring and repetitive and I only watch the other big tournaments. The Champions League is already one of the big ones and the prize money matches its prestige which will likely to grow. But yeah it's not going to be one of my favourites since it includes only 8 players and many of the personalities I like are going to be outside of that group most of the time.
  5. Yessss!!! Mensur Suljovic is the Champions League Champion!! incredible!!
  6. Sninga was the Lithuanian song in the first edition and you definitely were not present for that edition.... not sure if you were there for TISC Annual 2015 where they presented Tik Žmogus. Either way, you will find them here in the TISC history thread if you are interested:

  8. 20 nations signed up within the first 48 hours x 3 x 2 x 2 x 2 @amen09 Maybe you can add a list of participants (nations and jury members) to the first post so we can track it and keep the records in sight (current record is 41 nations!).
  9. Would love to see a Hungarian return too. Sadly we only had them in a couple of contests so far.
  10. Egypt, Guyana and Turkey took part in many editions but I don't know if it's possible to get them back this time.
  11. Yes it would be great to see nations return. Welcome back Chile! Who else could return? Sweden I hope as I saw @Swewi online recently. Ukraine debuted in the very first edition but never came back since. Would be wonderful to get them back too.
  12. Any chance we could have a debut nation this contest? Can anyone think of any possible debutants?
  13. Awesome! Delighted to see Paris getting the Olympics at last
  14. Congrats, it must feel wonderful We could have a Totallympics Congress in your home
  15. For me too, I don't really like any of the songs although Rain grew on me a little.... but very disappointing overall.
  16. 22 weeks, 150 days to go ! A double update today as we have now passed the 22 weeks to go milestone and the Games are today just 150 days away. 17. I'm pretty sure the melting point of an Irishman is several degrees lower than that....anything in the 20°C and over and we are venturing into dangerous territory
  18. Not me that's for sure! I already told my sister that if and when I come to visit her in Madrid it will be in the winter months
  19. Who needs a sun holiday when you could have that
  20. Yes, always the way Here is one nice photo taken last night here in my homeplace, Donegal (northwest coast): But as I said it is not the most spectacular, there were better examples from other times as can be seen here http://www.thejournal.ie/aurora-borealis-donegal-2-1337339-Feb2014/. And now of course the sky is a thick blanket of cloud
  21. Last night and tonight I can see some nice colours in the sky..... though it's not as good as I have seen on other occasions. The moon is very bright so that doesn't help I guess.
  22. Blossoms...... absolutely love, love, love this band.
  23. Great to see Northern Ireland doing well again in this campaign.... would love to see them at the World Cup and now they are just two matches from getting there, the closest in my lifetime!
