  1. As much as I don't usually go for performances like that, I'd say that "Dance You Off" is the clear leader.
  2. Can I just say that I find our national selection stronger this year than Melodifestivalen? Sure, we don't have that many special effects, but I love a handful of our songs (some of which are already eliminated) whilst Melodifestivalen pretty much has 1 good one (that's probably winning) and a few very mediocre ones.
  3. This is going to be one hell of a season for Agnė, because she's already running very close to her outdoor PB, I think that Lithuanian 400m. record, that's 34 years old is in serious danger this summer.
  4. Well, that's a pretty great 7th place for Agnė Šerkšnienė and the indoor national record broken twice in one day
  5. Simona Krupeckaitė is on the start list for the 500m. time trial. That's the first time in I don't know how many years when she's starting in something that is not a sprint or keirin.
  6. Well, at least they're naming a horse Sushi and not a dolphin
  7. Oh, I saw in our media that Ieva Serapinaitė is leading after two events too bad that she's a pretty terrible runner.
  8. I don't know, perhaps I'm not finding what I have to find, because I only see swimming results
  9. Where can one follow the fencing results? I've only found the swimming times.
  10. That's a beautiful run by Agnė and a new NR for indoor 400m.
  11. Yeahhhhhh, I'm sorry, but in order to be successful in this competition in the future, I have to stop nominating songs that you'd like
  12. Well, I think I might steal something from our Eurovision selection this year, but that person still has decent chances to make it to Eurovision, so you can never know So, whilst I'm doing my research, I have a plan B set in motion.
  13. Also, don't start to worry about me, because I probably won't announce our song this year earlier than the 12th of March
  14. Sad that Airinė Palšytė missed this. Even with her problems, she would have had a chance at a medal at this rate
  15. The High-Jump ain't looking that great
  16. Well, Simona really didn't do herself a favour with that 8th qualification time and now she's left sharing 5-8th position. Well, I know I shouldn't count her out, but I believe that Sprint was a much better chance for her as her Keirin results have not been that convincing as of late.
  17. Anyways, I thought it'd be an interesting share: Former TISC winners Leon Somov & Jazzu decided to part ways after 12 years together in music. We toured with them at the "Game Over" tour, this is a picture from the final concert two days ago in Kaunas.
  18. It'll be interesting to see how the game changes with a different Russian user choosing the song
  19. Yeah, some of them have already crossed over to World Cup racing and it seems that it's looking good for those who haven't yet crossed over too. I'd go as far as saying that your talent pool (at least on the women's side) is looking better than that of Germany at the moment
  20. I think Biathlon is going to become a very interesting and attractive sport to Sweden starting from now on. Seeing the amount of junior talent that you're producing, this might surpass the Zidek, Ekholm, Ferry, Bergman era.
  21. An article just appeared on our media outlets. This is going to be the 14th World Championships for Simona Krupeckaitė, she has 12 medals (2 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze), so I'd say that's a pretty good TRACK record. Last time when the World Championships were held in this city, Krupeckaitė won silver.
  22. Oh yes, she's there and she's pretty capable. She's the Kaisa Makarainen of Track Cycling, she's going to try for the final time in Tokyo. On top of that, Vasilijus Lendel and Olivija Baleišytė are very strong out of their junior years and I wouldn't completely write them off just yet.
  23. I wonder, I wonder if we can end these championships with a medal round our necks
  24. Seeing as I've been following the Biathlon scene for a good amount of years and especially focusing a lot on the junior results, I think that it's fair to say that Finland is growing up to be a powerhouse nation in a couple of years, just like Sweden has the foundations now to be able to challenge Norway, Germany, Russia etc.
  25. When people are never held accountable for their actions and they never have to face consequences for their actions, they never learn from their mistakes. Warnings would have been okay a long time ago, two years of constant improper behaviour does not simply change over a day. The offender has not shown any remorse, nor has he ever tried to apologise for his misconduct. I would definitely look at this situation differently if his participation message would have started with an open apology, addressing that his behaviour in the contest last year (and years before that) was not appropriate and that he is owning up to the words that he said and striving for change. In all honesty, I don't think that he would even reply to @OlympicIRL statement, unless of course he feels pressured to do so after reading my message in order to yet again be on your good side. My suggestion is not a full time ban, but excluding him from 1 contest might help him learn a lesson or two, because right now I see a kid whose throwing his legos and toys all over the ground, you keep stepping on them, but are still thinking "oh, what a cute kid". I'd suggest excluding him from the voting process for a single contest, but that would mean an advantage for Algeria and it wouldn't be good either. We had a situation with a German user that admitted he didn't care about the contest and voted randomly, yet Germany that year was in the end disqualified from the affair, so why is this case special? Edit: In case I was not clear enough, I'm not just addressing OlympicIRL, I'm addressing the forum.
