  1. Well, Moldova just entered and @rybak said that Azerbaijan is on their way. Then we can only pray for Turkey, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Japan, Uruguay, Czech Republic, a historical comeback from Montenegro, a historical re-registration for Spain, a miraculous comeback from Guyana, a visit from Morocco and Latvia, a hello from Australia and I think that would be enough.
  2. Franziska Hildebrand somehow always manages to let herself down at the end.
  3. Like, I cannot explain the happiness that I'm feeling. I love Scandinavia I adore Scandinavia, so this is a dream come true to have Sweden and Norway rejoining us after such a long time. And another dream is Switzerland and Austria Now I need Australia back, Belgium in, a bit more representation from Asia and something like Nigeria and my life is complete.
  4. Well, Tomas looked worse than our women's team will look tomorrow That's not something that I expected to say after the Olympics Anyway, kinda expected Tomas to flop, since he can barely stay fit for only a single moment in a year. Anyways, 59 and 60 for Karol and Vytautas is fairly okay, but I'm greedy and I want World Cup points.
  5. Basically, if you're able to cast your votes before the deadline, then there's absolutely no problem with you not being able to present the results live.
  6. I'm honestly impressed how every year we somehow miraculously find a new nation to join the contest
  7. Alright, so a friendly nudge to @Pabloffo is in order, especially since I loved Chile last year Can't bother Czech Republic as the user already commented on his participation here. Then there's also @#MA that's been missing for a while. @africaboy thinking that he can leave us without a Romanian song. Then there's also Turkey, but I honestly have no clue who to tag to get Turkey in on this, @Euphoria has been here this February and it would be sad if @Hem Shampa Uruguay left our family. Then it's been nearly a year since we last saw @Il_qar , though @Ionoutz24 only missing for a month. Also, what would be even more amazing is I remember chatting with @opruh from the Philippines that thought about joining the contest. And finally, I know we already have Argentina, but @Matt was good company
  8. We would provide them with an old Swedish account
  9. Oh yeah, I had a lovely Eurovision discussion with @Belle . Would be awesome if you could represent Sweden, we've been missing Swedish music for far too long
  10. We should go one step above and message Sweden. They would definitely love a music contest.
  11. I think Venezuela is also here for the first time
  12. Also, did anybody bombard @Swewi with private messages about TISC or can I start from today?
  13. I think that if Italy pulled a few strings, they could get more than 7. There was a huge bunch of them in the prediction contests
  14. Well, let's say that I'm going to be very very optimistic and I'm predicting the best Olympics for team Lithuania with my guess: 2 medals in Athletics (without any injuries, Gudžius and Palšytė should be going there among the favourites) 1 in Canoeing Sprint (well, we always have a lot of finalists in canoeing, so expecting a medal is not too far-fetched) 1 in any fighting sport like Boxing, Judo, Wrestling or perhaps even Karate 1 in Cycling-Track (my hopes are with Krupeckaitė on this one, she always chokes at the Olympics, but a boy can dream) 1 in Modern Pentathlon (even if Asadauskaitė does not manage to win, we still have Kinderis or even Venčkauskaitė that took 4th place a couple of days ago in her comeback to Pentathlon, so she'll only get better) 2 in Rowing (we have a lot of great rowing teams, so I'm hoping that things won't change drastically in two years) 2 in Swimming (I think that expecting 1 medal from Meilutytė and 1 medal from fastly improving Rapšys is not too far fetched either, plus we also have a few others that could surprise) Anyways, that would be a total tally of 10 medals and that would be a CRAZY big deal for Lithuania, because we usually end up with 4-6 medals, but my prediction should be fairly realistic, regarding that no one chokes or that Asadauskaitė doesn't get a weird horse in riding
  15. Another heart-warming picture of Simona and her husband.
  16. Not many people here have a clue what this medal truly means. Basically, we had a huge sports funding reformation that screwed over a lot of disciplines and cycling-track is one of the biggest casualties. Simona's husband (he is also her personal trainer and he also trains 3 of the other 4 participants here) was fired from his job at the Olympic center right before the New Year as well as cycling losing 170000 Euros in 2018 budget. Since they had to take care of their son, they had plans to leave Lithuania, because her husband got job offers abroad. Perhaps this medal can still save the day.
  17. This is also only her second medal in Keirin out of everything that she's won.
  18. OMG YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 13th World Championships medal for Simona Krupeckaitė adds a bronze in Keirin to her collection.
  19. Simona Krupeckaitė in Keirin final, perhaps she can do it?
  20. Perhaps it's for the better, because I would have gone mad whilst trying to decide if I want "Statements" or "Amar Pelos Dois" to win
  21. I still can't forgive Sweden for robbing Loreen's "Statements" Honestly, it was probably my top 3 favourite Eurovision song of all time and it wasn't even in Eurovision. I'd go as far as saying it was many times better than "Euphoria".
  22. Too bad that Linas Banys is very out of shape for these championships. He managed a 23rd place with 1 miss though and seeing two decent performances from Romanov and 1 decent performance from Jesipionok, this might be one of the better junior championships for us in recent years.
