  1. it's not exactly the most lucrative sport out there,it's also not really an easy one, despite everything done to shorten it up,actually that might be part of the issue, she debuted when laser guns weren't even yet a thing in 2009,for sure the sport could of changed too much for her to enjoy it anymore, not sure what her take on the whole horse debacle is,i know she hated the ride early on in her time because fear of horses, but obviously she got over that later on.
  2. not exactly following pentathletes lives closely,so this is news to me,what happened to her ?,not surprised about the retiring news,it's pretty much the perfect stage for her to exit.
  3. Valarie wins with 69.86.Perez had major foul trouble, couldn't get another throw in after round 1.
  4. This is the best she's done since last year this time exactly, could be coming in to form right on time.
  5. I'm just curious....what do you expect someone like Prokopenko to do ? she's been in this sport for over 20 years, should she just retire because of what's going on ? ,this is someone who had to wait 9 years for her olympic medal from Beijing and won world championships late in her career do you expect her to just try to flee her country for.....where exactly ? here in Lithuania ? sure,i wouldn't mind her finishing her career under our banner, many people would,so that's not really even a possibe option...
  6. I'm pretty sure Svastkovsky [2000 men's olympic champion in pentathlon] is still european pentathlon federations president,so there was never really any chance that Belerussians[mainly them really, only Batoshova has seemingly returned from Russia with neutral status] and Russians weren't gonna be brought back.
  7. Laura needs to be a bit closer to the lead these days, there weren't really medal chances here, even if she had a perfect shooting performance.
  8. Izabella de silva with a huge pb of 64.66
  9. Allman starts big in round one with 68.11, Feng bin in second with 66.63,Yaime Perez in thrid with 65.59.
  10. Women's discus results,yayyyyyyyyyyyy
  11. lol cool, btw Repots are in here that because Batashova went for neutral status, she's been kicked off the Russian team
  12. Well i can see why your a bit sad right now,the Egyptian girls were really close to the final, but honestly Egypt is a pentathlon powerhouse at this point.
  13. Laura is still killing it at the age of 40 .
  14. Saw that, field events are seriously carrying the event, the guys especially absolutely owning the stage.
  15. Which means even if she wins gold she won't be the youngest ever to do it for our nation, since Rūta was 15.
  16. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL,we have a chance for gold in the women's breaking, and i'm still not really that excited to watch it
  17. I'm aware but ultimatly in major sports competitions, it can be said that England won something, and that's not an error,it's not like people who cover the events really emphasize,''oh a scottish guy won the gold'' Anyway, didn't mean anything by this.
