Abudduaini tuergong BREAKS a 29 year old national record in the discus with 65.35 in chengdu at a throws invitational on april 2nd. he's 7th on the world list right now,already had a pb of 64.36 this year at his seasons opener at the same spot.

four off the seven remaining women in the world discus invitational list were accepted into the comp today.

With a week to go till the deadline for the world invitational,the rosters look beefy for the discus on both sides.24 entries for the men[19 accepted in so far] and 25 for the women[18 accepted so far] For the men so far there are three 70 meter throwers[i count Denny as that since it's just 4 centimeters off his pb]10 from mid 66 to low 69,three of 65 and over,four from almost 64 to almost 65.On the women's side the 18 accepted throwers all have a pb of over 60 meters.11 of them have pbs over 64 plus.of the ones still not there besides Valerie and Yaime who have been marketed so i can only assume they will join,such names as Sandra Elkasevic,Bin Feng,and jordine van klinken aren't signed up yet,jordine's probably the most likely of them to join in tough feng would be a cool surprise,i somehow don't see Sandra doing this,but it would be awesome if she did.Stahl and ceh aren't in yet on the men's side,ceh has been marketed while stahl hasn't been mentioned at all,[pretty sure stahl will not be there],Lukas[last name is too wild for me to even try] and lawrence okoye aren't there yet either but i'm betting both will be joining in.

It's complete American domination in the women's discus rankings so far this year,they occupy the top 4 slots,and the WORST result of those four was achieved at Ramona .Third place currently belongs to Ciera Jackson who had a huge almost 4 METER pr at the west coast relays on friday-64.42[previous best was 60.77 from march of 2023,and she opened her season a week ago with at that time her second best result ever of 60.14]she also had a 63.66 throw to back this new pb up,and finally with her new personal best she took down the school record that stood for 36 YEARS[Btw Valerie Allman actually competed in Ramona on march 30th but conditions were apparently far from ideal and she fouled four times and her best was a 63.61,i don't doubt that in the event that she competes in the world intational,the conditions will be perfect,i wouldn't be so bold as to say she wouldl get the world record but for sure i think she could get a new personal best.

Alida Van daalen opened her season with 63.36,she takes the european lead.

With gustavesons 70.63 mark seemingly unrecognized,i suppose this is technically the world lead for the men's discus right now.

And finishes off with 69.13 in the final round,what a series .

Ralford Mullings throws down 67.28 in round one of the discus at the texas relays .

Matt Denny threw 68.17,possibly not what he was looking for his final meet before ramona,but we'll see how that goes.

yes,very good relations,we consider them our brothers/sisters,Latvia especially,no there's no historical issues,there couldn't really be any anyway ,Latvia and estonia really only appeared on the world maps after the first world war,while we been present since as early as the 1000.

Valerie Allman with the world lead now as predicted but really not by much at all-66.72. Hopefully she will be in Ramona .
