Oh boy Canada's only chance to qualify is through the WBC. Ouch. It's so over already xD (Either way, this is an awful qualification system, especially for the Americas, not in terms of number of quotas but in terms of how they are decided)

Did not expect it. I hope they hold it. But still, bleh at that whole event. Ice dance is really not in a great place atm.

Oh no LFB naturalizing and switching nationality is not why I dislike her. It's figure skating, I accept that in ice dance and pairs people will transfer for better opportunity (Canada wins some of those transfers and loses some of them, just like France does - heck Piper Gilles is originally from and before her Weaver was a fellow Canadian-Texan - I have a real sweet spot for Canadian-Texans :D ). I dislike all those people (especially LFB and Cizeron but I'm also suspicious of all the I.AM teams at this point) because of their relationships with Nikolaj Sørensen.

Chock and Bates. I'm kinda sour on all the I.AM (Ice dance academy of Montreal) teams atm.

Kind of a depressing event given who LFB and Cizeron are as people (and the fact that C/B are a *little* too chummy with them). No great outcome here but I'll be very sad if LFB and Cizeron win gold.

I hope they do, the quarters should be relatively straightforward and it potentially means two extra medalists.

Well that one hurts for Brookes. Luckily for her slopestyle is her better event. That one was so, so close.

Well the plot thickens. My gut tells me this won't be enough for Zoe to win gold. Just too much tallent waiting in the wings.

Glad Gasser got a good jump in.

And Sadowski-Synnott gives herself a real shot at a gold medal now. Super exciting with her and Kokomo both needing a big final jump. This is a great final.

Kokomo with some work to do if she wants to win gold. Yu winning gold would be a spectacular upset (not a massive shock if she medals but she certainly isn't favoured to win gold).

In North America alpine skiing is sadly not popular at all, and a lot of snowboarders are outright hostile towards it

As much as I didn't want this final, the curling percentages are pretty clear that and have been the two best teams this week.

Boyd-Clowes finished 45th in the men's normal hill. Slightly dissapointing.

I'd rather have this than no combined at all tbh.
