Speriamo che arrivi a Cortina sana e nel buona forma.... Per ora, si sta allenando in Cile, ma in questo sport, una mossa sbagliata e puoi perdere tutto: Fede ha subito quel terribile infortunio ai Campionati Italiani sull'Alpe di Lusia ad Aprile... Secondo me, Brignone vorrebbe essere la portabandiera, ma la domanda è: anche se partisse a Cortina, in che forma si presenterebbe? Per lei, un 10 o un 15 posto non significherebbero nulla.

Lo sci alpino è uno sport in cui raramente si saltano intere stagioni per competere solo in uno o due eventi importanti. Queste situazioni co sono solo in caso di infortuni, problemi di salute, ecc. Torino non è andata poi così male nela qualita del medagliere (9 posto complessivo), ma siamo rimasti di poco al di sotto delle 4 medaglie di sci alpino vinte l'anno precedente a Bormio ai Campionati del Mondo, che mancavano nel 2006. In quel caso avremmo totalizzato 15 medaglie, di cui 5 d'oro. Ma alla fine è stato un fallimento: meno medaglie di quelle vinte a Salt Lake City nel 2002 (l'unico caso del genere nel XXI secolo nel caso dei paesi che organizzano i Giochi estivi o invernali). Tuttavia, ciò che è successo negli anni successivi a Torino è stato un disastro: nessuna eredità, impianti abbandonati e due prossime Olimpiadi invernali consecutive, le peggiori per noi nel XXI secolo: Vancouver e Sochi.
