  2. I don't have a favorite right now- I used to like Climamio Bologna-I don't know if it still exists. But overall, I'm keep of my fingers for Milano and Virtus in the Euroleague.
  3. A few more years later at this rate and we'll be fighting with Spain and Poland in the Summer Olympic medal table, not France, which is already light years ahead of us thanks to its home games.
  4. Canoe Slalom and Canoe Sprint as a whole have been disastrous this season: no medal in the sprint in the Olympic category on World Champ.,, in slalom no medal at all: de Gennaro out of form, Horn absent. A very big minus. Rowing also bad without a one gold medal in the M4X.
  5. The Pro Tour began in 2005 (now called WT)- in that time, we had 4 teams: Lampre, Liquigas, Fassa Bortolo and Domina Vacanze. Now we have nothing and it has been like this for more than 10 years. That's a problem for me. Spain has one: Movistar and we should do it too. I would that we create a combined men's and women's team at WT level.
  6. I'm already old enough to remember delight about Armstrong, reading books about his battle with cancer, etc., and then it turned out the way it did. It's hard to repeat the same mistake... Although, of course, almost all of Armstrong's rivals were also doping (Ullrich, Beloki, etc.), and he still crushed them.
  7. The right decision, but 20 years too late... UEFA had to give them an ultimatum, otherwise they would be debating the design of a new stadium for another 20 years, like in Italy I think that, both Inter and Milan should have their own stadiums, but good thar, and that's just the beginning, I hope. Currently in ITA has 1 (one!!!) stadium that meets UEFA's criteria for Euro 2032: Turkey, for example, has several... In my opinion, there's no debate. Nostalgia? Yes, but the old Wembley and Highbury also had their history, yet they had to be demolished and bulit modern stadiums. Thanks to this, among other things, England has the best league in Europe, while Italy is still stuck in the 1990s. Of course, stadiums are just one of many reasons, but the rebuilding of Calcio has to start somewhere.
  8. I don't know if Ganna shouldn't return to the track for 100%- he won't win anything on the road anyway and he is probably rich enough now that it's not just about money and constant defeats. He can still win gold medals individually and with the team on the track + try his chance at the Omnium and Madison, becouse why not? Milan is a different story, because the sprints aren't currently dominated and he can still get a win something great from time to time. I just hope that the Slovenian and Belgian are under scrutiny and have no protection at the top and even if they do, they won't get away with it like Lance did 20 years ago.
  9. Pagacar and Evenepoel should really slow down a bit, because this is looking so grotesque in this moment in history of cycling... At least Armstrong was slowing down a bit – he limited only to the TDF and I don't remember that he attacking with 100km to go, etc... Landis did something like that once on the TDF in 2006 and got busted immediately. Pagacar does this practically all year round and I'm supposed to believe it`s a normal? The same with Evenepoel – the guy returned from Rwanda just 3 days ago after a massacre Sunday battle on a difficult course and today he is crushing the fresh Ganna, who's an very good time trialist? I think I will actually give up on this sport, because it's increasingly insulting to my intelligence...
  10. Simone Anzani say goodbye Italian NT He doesn't have an Olympic medal to his name and won't win one. However, the decision is understandable, as he'll be 36 in 2028 and likely wouldn't be able to play on both sides: club and NT team- especially knowing his health problems - heart disease. https://www.volleyball.it/2025/10/01/notizie/argomenti/mondiali/articolo/mondiali-simone-anzani-saluta-la-maglia-azzurra.html
  11. I don`t know this women but I think she has a polish origin?

  13. Maybe World Cup 1994? In my opinion, 2006 was a big missed opportunity by the Bulgarian federation. That team had enormous potential, but especially after 2010, the Bulgarian federation began to chronic financial problems and the results were worse and worse, although they still placed 4th at the OG in 2012. In that 2006, Poland and Bulgaria were a very sensation together, but then Poland moved forward, while Bulgaria, I think, failed to capitalize on that success due to the federation's incompetence. Hopefully, this time it will be different.
  14. It was similar to 2006 event or not? In 2006 it was a early December, I think.
  16. Yes, but only in women`s relay in 2006. I have the impression that 20 years ago short track was more of a sport for youth people, than it is now, and you could say that Fontana is a connector between those times and now.
  17. Arianna Fontana is preparing for the another season in a row alone with her husband in Canada and the USA, apart from the rest of the Italian team. I only hope she will still want to compete in the mixed relay in next season World Cup and at the Olympics (she competed in the women's relay last season, but not in the mixed relay) and I think that she can do a some training with the rest of the team during the season. With Fontana in the mixed relay our chances of even winning gold will increase significantly. https://www.instagram.com/p/DPHWXzAkeBM/
  18. There might be a chance for Brignone to return at the end of December in Semmering, but even she said that until she puts on skis, there will never be 100% certainty. I don't know how many races Fede can miss and still be in the top group in giant slalom skiing from numbers 1 to 7. However, I think she can easily miss the 4-5 races at the beginig of new season up to Semmering and she still be in the top 7 in GS starting list (for of today, she is the clear leader and has a huge advantage over 8th places). https://www.neveitalia.it/sport/scialpino/femminile/news/un-po-di-mare-e-corsa-sulla-sabbia-in-sardegna-per-brignone-assieme-all-amica-karoline-pichler

  21. Well, I guess we should be happy, that we grew up in a different times
  22. That's one thing, but another thing that it annoys me is young girls with tattoos- in my youth, the early 21st century, it was unthinkable. Is it similar in your country?
  23. Italy won the Men's Volleyball World Championship yesterday, but the main news of the day is Milan's victory in Serie A
  24. Just like in Italy
