  3. Canada's junior women/mixed relay teams are too classy for the rest of the field, really wish China had brought their best so there could be some proper battles in those events. Even our guy Gaziev smashed his 50.66 PB to 50.32 leadoff in mixed relay heats and now 49.99 leadoff in mixed relay final. And Alex Pratt has a 51.87 PB (he's more of a distance man) and put up two sub 51 laps in heats and finals. Really looking forward to Women's 4x100m where Sanchez (3rd in individual), Smith (4th in individual), Ruck, and Oleksiak should go after another WJR
  4. Tomorrow's women's heptathlon features "the busiest woman in athletics" Dallyssa Huggins, an insane workhorse here in Canada who has already completed 6 full heptathlons this outdoor season plus at least 2-3 of every event in the heptathlon individually at other meets. She's also ran about 10 400mH races this season too.

  18. Ah the World Juniors, where new personal bests seem to happen every race! Always love these types of championships. Canada having a great meet so far, smashing National Age Group records frequently. Women's 100m backstroke has brilliant future with Ruck (CAN) and the two 15 yr olds Regan Smith (USA) and Jade Hannah (CAN)
  19. Yeah, it is pretty hard to do Asian champs or Olympic qualification tournaments when China probably won't show up and will complain about it!
  20. Do note that FISU is changing the age requirements, in 2019 the age limit will decrease from 28 to 25 Also, a nice article on the food in the athletes village https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3238616
