  1. Canada starts of the WJC with 2 bronzes, including Gabriel Jones. That marked Canada's first male medal since 2016!
  2. I think would be favored in women's badminton. She's right up there in the rankings. Would be curious to see who the highest ranked eligible athlete would be for each of the tripartie quotas
  3. has cancelled its participation at the second world cup
  4. They took tips from the Spanish women it appears...
  5. will not use their quota(s)

  7. Pan AM Championships/Qualifiers team: https://sirc.ca/news/canadian-wrestling-team-set-for-pan-am-championships-and-olympic-qualifiers/ 5 greco-roman wrestlers wow.
  8. Triathlon team for the upcoming season: https://sirc.ca/news/newly-named-canadian-triathlon-team-focused-on-pathway-to-paris-in-2024/
  9. Sorry I meant to say the Men's bobsleigh. The Women, although with not many great results, are actually competing in a smaller field.
  10. Our bobsleigh team is at an all time low. ALmost no participation in world cups, and when they do its towards the end of the rankings. The organization literally destroyed itself. Rip
  11. Rory Linkletter becomes the second male athlete to surpass Athletics Canada's standard.
  12. THe Asian Winter Games are scheduled from Feb 4 to 14 next year, with all dates conflicting with the World Alpine ski championships. I wonder if that will reduce participation, as AS is usually the event with most countries competing.
  13. All 4 men had good times. In Tokyo I would assume Liendo will come in for either knox or Acevedo. I just hope we can get a breaststroker into the high 58's ? Then maybe a medal might be in the coversation
  14. Solid performance by the Canadian men's medley relay team, but 4th overall (on brand)
  15. Gorbenko just booed by the crowd
  16. Disappointing time for Wigginton in the final. I hope he can pull of the Olympic standard soon
  17. Hoping the 24.50 is a sign of a huge time in the relay
  18. We close the World Cup with a Canadian victory in the Men's 5000m relay
  19. So weird watching swimming then switching over to hockey or short track speed skating. It feels like both the Winter and Summer Olympics are happening at the same time
  20. Pickrem is being replaced by Angus in the final
