  1. Looks like the IBSF removed the top 60 or top 45 rules for Skeleton. This means is second in the women's reallocation list (likely first, because I doubt would accept a reallocate spot)
  2. Team Canada Men Antoine Cyr Olivier Léveillé Graham Ritchie Women Dahria Beatty Cendrine Browne Laura Leclair Katherine Stewart-Jones
  3. Interesting decision....I think any decision would have led too.... well team x did this and would have been a better selection
  4. What a joke.... rigged races allowing a 39 year old skier from Jamaica who has no business at the Olympics as cost a quota... never change FIS
  5. :aze lost its quota, not sure why they were given one in the first place (none of its skiers met the requiremenrs)
  6. Weightlifting (not sure of it being true): https://torokhtiy.com/blogs/warm-body-cold-mind/qualification-system-in-paris-2024
  7. I can't see Moldova declining. So perhaps there were other declines as well or maybe another winter IF making up their own rules
  8. Blame the IOC. I fear for 2026. Women's Nordic Combined (20-25 quotas) plus ski mountaineering (48 quotas) will need to be found.
  9. I think they realized we were heading to over 166 athletes and changed it on a whim
  10. Amanda Asay, only 33, silver medalist in women's baseball at the 2015 Pan American Games (the first and only time women's baseball has been held at a major MSE). https://www.baseball.ca/?alias=baseball-canada-mourns-the-passing-of-amanda-asay&lang=english
  11. Team Canada Men's Singles: Keegan Messing, Roman Sadovsky Women's Singles: Madeline Schizas Pairs: Vanessa James / Eric Radford, Kirsten Moore-Towers / Michael Marinaro Ice Dance: Laurence Fournier Beaudry / Nikolaj Sørensen, Piper Gilles / Paul Poirier, Marjorie Lajoie / Zachary Lagha
  12. Rip Canada lost its third 4 man sled, due to Covid essentially... though moving forward, I think the 4 man event should be limited to 2 sleds per NOC, which would essentially allow two more countries to compete.
