World Rowing announced today that it will allow a 'limited number' of Russians/Belarusians to compete at the 2023 Rowing World Championships (A key Paris 2024 Qualifier) Athletes from Russia and Belarus will only be allowed to compete in single sculls, coxless pairs, and lightweight single sculls. They also will be allowed to compete in para-rowing single sculls and pairs. Erin Brooks made a bet with her dad before the competition started. If Erin made it to the final, she would've gotten a puppy. After surviving 11 repechage rounds, she won the bet!

For Brooks absolutely. She may even qualify as early as the 2023 Pan Am Games, but even if she doesn't she'll still have another chance at the 2024 ISA Surf Games. Before this event, I would say no chance at Paris 2024 for Cody Young, however, with him overperforming massively here, could now see it happening. You also have the sisters Sanoa/Mathea Olin, who are also ones to watch out for.
