  1. Not sure if I’ll be able to do a Canadian schedule today.
  2. Another medal for this time a bronze by Archibald in men’s 100m!
  3. Upgraded to silver as the Mexican athlete who won gold got disqualified.
  4. Abrams silver in the women’s 100m
  5. Diego Elias is 2nd in the world, while Baillargeon is ranked 39th. Was surprised to even see him manage to take a set off him.
  6. Charles Philibert-Thiboutot wins bronze in men’s 5000m. Bit disappointing, hopefully he can rebound in the 1500m.
  7. Yeah but to be fair it’s not like they were expected to win anyways.
  8. Men’s waterpolo team goes 2-0 in group play action, demolishing Chile 29-7.
  9. Eugene Wang advances to the semifinals in men’s singles table tennis, after a 4-2 (he was 1-2 down) win over Chile’s Nicolas Burgos!
  10. Mo Zhang advances the women’s singles semifinals in table tennis with a 4-0 (!) win over US’s Amy Wang! (WR #30)
  11. Philibert-Thiboutot has the second best entry time in the men’s 5000m. I’d be surprised if he finishes off the podium.
  12. Pamela Brind’Amour also advances, as she defeats Argentina’s Candela Belén Espinosa Veloso 15-12!
  13. Tamar Gordon through to the quarterfinals in women’s sabre after a dominant 15-5 win over Venezuela’s Katherine Francheska Parades Torres!
  14. Women’s water polo team goes 2-0 after a 24-3 win over Cuba.
  15. Blake Broszus advances to the quarterfinals in men’s foil, after a 15-11 victory over Venezuela’s Antonio Junior Leal Pina!
  16. Day 11 (October 31, 2023) Canadian Schedule Sorry I’m later, completely forgot to do it before I went to bed. Will do sailing in about an hour or so as it takes a lot of time to do. 17. Agree. And Ben Healy in road cycling.
  18. Just realized we’re more than halfway through the Pan Ams Only ten medal events today (seriously, who made this schedule??), here are Canada’s best chances. Charles Philibert-Thiboutot in athletics (men’s 5,000m), Pamela Brind’Amour in fencing (women’s sabre), and Blake Brozus in fencing (men’s foil)
  19. Not exactly D-level athletes for the rest of the events, but in most sports we don’t have our top athletes. Top athletes are mainly in Olympic qualifying events, and non-Olympic sports. Of course, there’s some exceptions.
  20. Canada utterly crush Chile in their first group stage match, defeating the hosts 28-2!
  21. demolishing in men’s water polo pool play currently up 25-2 (still early on in the 4th quarter)
  22. Focusing on her internship, she’ll be back in January.
  23. Is there anywhere that I can watch the CHI-CAN men’s waterpolo pool play match?
  24. Silver for Eleanor Harvey, after a 15-6 loss to US’s Lee Kiefer. Not even close.
