  1. Oh damn. I’m just mentioning it because 1:58 isn’t very fast compared to splits by other medal contending teams (China and United States, we’re not catching Australia). We’ll probably need two or three additional 1:57/1:56 spilts (in addition to McIntosh) at the Olympics in order to win bronze.

  12. Molly Carlson leads after 2/4 dives in women’s 20m high diving, with 168.90 points. She’s 12.50 points clear of 3x reigning World Champion Rhiannan Iffland. Jessica MacCaulay is currently in third, but way behind the leading two divers (she’s 27.85 behind Carlson and 13.25 behind Iffland) and there’s not much separating her from the rest of the field.
