  1. I don't like assumptions, but I don't trust North Korea because they could pull these athletes from competition and escape authorities a long time due to COVID issues, which is a good time to actually dope. Especially if they look this strong.
  2. Ah right, I guess I am in a country where WLHOUSE TV is available then.
  3. Where can we watch this? I see that olympic channel does have streams with playback, but I can’t find them. Are they geoblocked and only available in certain countries?
  4. Decathlon is stacked again, even without the Olympic champion. Looking up to that one big time.
  5. Exactly that. Putting your sport behind an exclusive paywall for all events basically means that they only can shine once in four years. Mind you, I like the sports at the olympics a lot, but there is so much more that I can watch either for free or on a deal package.
  6. Netherlands is not looking good now in recurve anyway, coverage or no coverage. Our women aren't making a step forward while on the men's side it is basically over and done with. I don't know who is going to take P4 for us in LA then, because that was a recurring theme. At least compound is there.
  7. I get the feeling this is going from bad to worse with many sports. I mean, archery isn’t going anywhere here if we are forced to pay a subscription to watch the worlds and have nothing else to go off. I mean, it is a fun sport, but to me not fun enough to pay 10 euro’s to watch this tourney.
  8. Orro was one of the best in the tourney, but Vargas was the queen of em all IMHO. But yeah, she didn’t win the title
  9. Even though we needed to clean up shop earlier, we won against the hosts with our young team. I guess that's all we can do, even while dealing with injuries Serbia and Japan will be too much.
  10. Austria losing conceding 10 twice. Not up for it against the big boys sadly.
  11. She may well be my favourite non-Dutch/Spanish athlete of all time. Absolutely heartbreaking news, really have a hard time taking it in. Brilliant biathlete and a great personality inside and outside of the sport. Rest in peace...
  12. Oh, the ever high and mighty American superiors. They are the best and can't do anything wrong, oh my. I'm not afraid that many athletes will be banned though. It won't be a good look on the success of the multi-sport event that should be all about American pride.
  13. I understand it sucks to get 20+ medals and not a single gold naturally, but the state of the sport is fine like that. I would be happy with 5 medals. However, I see people complaining here when we only have a single medal, which I can't understand. This relay medal was definitely not expected and we just had a single event in which a medal was a possibility (100 breaststroke), not counting Water Polo. Complaining about luck in swimming feels a bit superfluous to me though, yeah, if a swimmer swims the WR every time, they won't be beaten until someone else swims the WR. But that's not how it works. The only time I would say someone can be considered 'lucky' is if they win with a slower time than another swimmer that won the semi.
  14. These times in this 100 backstroke were crazy.
  15. Everyone started pretty quickly, yeah. In the end the top performer was clearly Quadarella though.
  16. Quadarella was doing well. That was about it.
  17. It is a good speed event and for the bigger countries it is the key event, but it is extremely uncompetetive, which sucks. Always the same few nations seriously contesting it.
  18. Happy to see doing good once more!
  19. Yeah, def not going to pay for fencing and TV shows f all here. Not going to pay for fencing so if that's the case, it's goodbye to watching Fencing. Finals are also on Olympic channel (which isn't much better tbf), it seems. Dunno at what time they will open up their stream, but I guess in 3.5 hours?
  20. Curious how the lucky spree will continue in the final.
  21. The luck of Wiegman at the Euros is never-ending huh? Tough luck, this tournament is a bore if we get another final -/
  22. No, that was in Dauphine back at Euskaltel. Mayo didn’t really do that much at Saunier Duval as he was quickly banned for EPO, even before Ricco and Cobo and the likes.
  23. With 5 EU countries being more prominent it won't be easy to qualify, albeit possible because of the two extra spots.
  24. Agreed on being my fav team behind Netherlands and Spain, but Australia did that to themselves. Silly to concede an offensive foul like that with seconds to play. Similar situation befell the Dutch with a poor pass on the final possession but they were lucky Spain couldn't capitalize. They went out anyway, but still.
  25. This might well be the worst PSO I have ever seen.
