  1. Shooter A wins a quota in Event X. Now, this means a) Shooter A cannot win another quota in any other event and b) Shooter A's NOC has a quota in Event X. Now, whether NOC wants to send A or some other guy B (who has MQS in Event X) is purely upto NOC. The shooter who is selected by NOC can participate in other events as well provided he has MQS in that event as well. This can be done as long as the number of shooters in that event does not cross 2 per NOC limit. If NOC wins 2 quota (A and B) in Event X and has another shooter C who has quota in Event Y and MQS in Event X, then NOC must decide

  11. you still must count in that in canoe slalom, especially in C1, very small entry list, harder track, stronger wind and a lot of favorites may have some serious troubles in the final race and miss gates, (look at womens K1 in Beijing 2008 ) it happened many times before, it´s also a reason why this sport is great, you never know what will happen, so in C1 I count on a slim chance also for Cameron

  13. I think now is not time for so good shape. Competiton in canoeing is at the end of Olympics. If they are now in very good shape, no way that for 50 days they will be in very good shape. Only Hungary is able for this. They are always in good shape

  16. so Auston Matthews as expected is this years draft number 1 Center Auston Matthews was taken by the Toronto Maple Leafs to start the 2016 NHL Draft at First Niagara Center on Friday, but there was a distinct Finnish flavor to the rest of the top five. Matthews, a native of Scottsdale, Ariz., is the first United States-born player to be picked No. 1 since Patrick Kane in 2007 by the Chicago Blackhawks. "A dream come true today," Matthews said. "It's a great organization. … Just got drafted into the NHL. One of the best days of my life."
