Tejaswin Shankar 17 yrs going to be 18 in Dec has broken the High Jump National Record with a jump of 2.26. Official data says his DOB is 21/12/98.

That's a great news for Indian athletics with Neeraj n Tejaswin looks 2 great Junior players set to shine in Senior category in International level..

32nd NATIONAL JUNIOR ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS- 2016

Sreeshankar leaped 7.52m in U-18 long jump- looks promising :thumbup:

Dipendar threw the shot put to a distance of 20.63m in U-18 category....But he is still only 16 yrs old..:yikes:

Ashish threw the hammer to a distance of 75.45m ...Vikranta to a distance of 73.26m in U-18 category

Rohit Yadav threw the javelin to a distance of 72.05 in U-16 - That is a good one....

32nd NATIONAL JUNIOR ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS- 2016

Khyati Mathur jumped 1.62m in High Jump in U-14 and she is only 13 yrs old. Hope we can see someone break the High Jump record of Sahana which is from long time.
