The Asian Olympic qualifiers for Weightlifting is also scheduled this month. It seems India can secure at max 2 quotas if they perform to their level best.

That's why we are stressing on execution. Hope in 3 months she gets training in abroad and improve her execution and get better in other apparatus.

Dipa Karmakar has become the 3rd gymnast and 5th overall to successfully complete the  Produnova Vault which is considered the toughest and has a difficulty level of 7.0

So definitely she is a medal hope if her execution is succesful. because anyways she will score the highest in difficulty.

as the difficulty level increases , it is more and more difficult to get the execution right  ( with a produnova it is almost i possible to get a 9 in execution as you tend to lose some points for your posterior touching the floor )  ...................... she did improve her vault scores significantly though she had 14.683 in the world championships ...now she had 14.833 which is almost close to the 4th position  at the world championships .... I am sure till now she must have been focussing on the all round to get through to rio ( and she had a great improvement of 2.7 ) ................... with the TOPS scheme she will focus on the vault and get more training  ........................ but full credit to her coach Nandi who has dedicatedly brought her to this world class level

    • Yes, but Geiger and Wellinger have both achieved some success in major events, while Paschke hasn't. Geiger certainly has a better chance in Cortina than Paschke at now, but it has to be the his decision to withdraw and give a chance to his team- mate. Otherwise, it wouldn't be fair to him. I don't think Horngacher will force him to withdraw.
