Tomorrow is a rest day and Anand needs to make the most of it if he wants to have that shot at the world championship again. The odds are stacked very much against him...

Our tennis stars are losing steam as the Olympics inch closer 

 

Our only genuine hope seems to be the mixed doubles and Paes and Sania (provided the AITA chooses them) should play together at the French Open and Wimbledon to get some good match practice. Paes and Bopanna should also start playing together on the circuit if at all they want themselves to have a chance at the Olympics. Strong egos cannot go with a great desire to medal for the country. These guys are being absolutely paradoxical.

Sumit Sangwan and Pooja Rani both lose their bouts 3-0 and 2-1 respectively. 

 

Already down to 10 boxers. Worst possible start.
