Indian golfer Udayan Mane is in line to join compatriot Anirban Lahiri at the Tokyo Olympics next month.

Udayan Mane was ranked outside the top-60 in the ‘Olympic Golf Rankings’ and was named in the reallocation reserve list. He will be the first replacement for Argentine golfer Emiliano Grillo - the No. 26 in the leaderboard.

The Indian women’s recurve team of Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat and Komalika Bari made it through to the final of the Archery World Cup Stage 3 in Paris.

 

Meanwhile, the men’s recurve team of Atanu Das, Pravin Jadhav and Tarundeep Rai - all Tokyo-bound archers - bowed out in the quarter-finals after a 5-4 loss to Germany.

 

The men’s compound team of Abhishek Verma, Aman Saini and Rajat Chauhan exited in the quarter-finals after a loss to France.

Indian shooters Manu Bhaker, Rahi Sarnobat and Yashaswini Singh Deswal won the women’s air pistol team bronze medal at the ISSF World Cup in Osijek, Croatia, 

 

The men’s air rifle team of Divyansh Singh Panwar, Deepak Kumar and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar fell just short of the bronze medal as they lost 16-14 to Serbia.

 

Meanwhile, the women’s air rifle team of Apurvi Chandela, Anjum Moudgil and Elavenil Valarivan finished 11th in the first qualification round and could not progress further.

 

In the individual men’s skeet event, Gurjoat Khangura finished 56th in the qualifying round with a score of 115 and could not make the final.

Not sure if it was the NOC or the biathlon federation (I assume the latter) that put him in the Livigno training 'world' with a former Italian biathlete as coach, but they can definitely also be blamed:  almost everyone involved in that shitshow got the motivation just sucked out of them by the methods and shitty atmosphere until they either retired or changed country
