We had won it on Thursday itself after qualification scores. There is no weightlifting, wrestling, boxing or badminton this time. So we are almost done with the universiade medal tally. Only a big shock will be able to win medals in archery or athletics, but it's only about performance to watch, nothing more.

Well there maybe a chance tomorrow with yeshaswini in 10m pistol.

Aare, I was only saying that we will not get any quota in shotgun events this time. Also, the Women Archery team is not going. Only seven in Shooting now; hope we get 4- more quotas in the remaining events.

The target sports are:

1) Boxing

2) Hockey

3) Wrestling

4) Shooting

5) Badminton

6) Athletics - concentrate only on javelin, 100 m and Hima Das

7) Weightlifting - concentrate on 2 women only

Let us focus and concentrate on these only. Rest are also ran and only participation will result in quick exits.

And is Mary Kom moving up to 1 Kg

Women's archery has difficult road but still has a chance.

I don't know if you are saying to concentrate on the sports in terms of medals or qualification.

How can the Women's Archery team go? Only one can still qualify.

Obviously, for medals. Only TT can go even if they dont won anything. We should not participate in Swimming, Judo and karate. We wont win anything.

Team qualification is not over yet. But it's a disastrous timing, less than 3 weeks before Olympic games the qualification tournament is scheduled. With Italy, Spain, Denmark, France etc won't be easy.

As  mentioned by our friend above it is tough but not impossible.

There are 3 team quotas still to play for.

    • And this is the final Medal Table fo the XX Bolivarian Games in
    • Agreed. But OTOH, the chances of a Male Team pursuit medal also seem rather slim at the moment, so why the hassle of dropping someone.
    • I have a sports database with millions of entries, which I then convert graphically on my Wikipedia sandbox.
    • Wouldn't be surprised to see the same this time. The men's 500m has basically on or with luck two medal chances, but certainly not three (semi-realistic) ones. With Beau Snellink for now not exactly on his way to an Olympic ticket and Patrick Roest still questionable, that might only leave Chris Huizinga, Jorrit Bergsma and Marcel Bosker, and that is not exactly a group one would want to have in the team pursuit.
