Alpine Skiing FIS World Championships 2021

Do your commentators also keep thinking that first measurement is a split time? The Dutch one does, all the time, for example he thought Muzaferija had the lead for a bit.

Really happy for Suter. She seems like a likeable athlete and almost too shy for the big stage. I can only guess Lara Gut is the #1 celebrity in Swiss winter sports and gets all the media attention ;)

Women's course is too short but tolerable.

If the SG was any indication, men's course is a total disaster. :hairpull:

I do hope Milan/Cortina will change some venues... It's not like the Olympics will not be held all over Italy anyway.

men's alpine skiing is scheduled to be in Bormio on the Stelvio course...

but we must say that that course in February is not the same we're used to see in December...it's well possible that at that time of the year there won't be the same icy conditions, which would change a lot of things for many skiers (the Italians more than any other...just look at the results of the last world champs held there)...
