The Czech team totally collapsed. They were playing so well. Sad.

Really, they are going to lose to Italy now?

 

I hate how this works. Being the most dominant team they will lose now and that surely doesn't bode well for the second match. Also, Italy completely messed up with 2 (!) stones in the 10th end and they didn't pay for it at all...

Italy's men are going to Korea!!! first qualification ever for our Curling sport...

 

but what a painful last ends they were...Gonin is just unable, Mosaner is completely crazy and lucky...but, despite not deserving it at all, at the end we have been gifted this historical win...

 

now let's hope that Gaspari is in a better state of mind than yesterday evening and the girls can earn their Olympic ticket, too...

Not after this loss. I wonder what's WCF's logic behind this. Losing a direct Olympic qualification game is not enjoyable, so 3rd teams are always in advantage over the 1st-2nd loser.
