Since this thing is supposed to take place in a week, I've been trying to find some current pictures depicting the current state. Apart from some TikTok videos from December and one Instagram post, there hasn't been anything other than what pops up when you look for pictures on the internet.

 

Do we have anything new from the inside, preferably from this week?

no recent news, we're all waiting for this weekend to know how the situation actually is 

 

however, not expecting Italian media to say a single word about it (just like they didn't say anything about the opening of the other venues here in Milan)

 

for our media, the only existing wintersports are alpine skiing and figure skating (sometimes they also talk of cross-country skiing, but only in memory of the past success, not because of daily action)

 

ice and field hockey are basically unknown to our media, I think they're the 2 most forgotten sports in the Country pound for pound

to my absolute surprise, I've been told that the 3 most important games of the weekend (both semis and the final of the national championship) will be shown live on (pay)tv here in Italy 😱😱😱😱😱

as I wrote, it's on pay-tv, so it won't be easy to extract videos from their broadcast

but I'll try to record my tv with my phone and then make some screenshots/videos from that

Not a news specifically with the Games, but i got my leave from work approved today.  Got 7 days from 12th to 20th, so will only miss day stuff from 9-11th, but you can't win them all.
