Semifinals

16:00  :SWE Sweden vs United States :USA    (in Key Bank Center)

20:00  :CAN Canada vs Czech Republic :CZE    (in Key Bank Center)

*Classical Format. Direct elimination match, the winners will advance to the Gold Medal Match, and the losing teams will qualify for the Bronze Medal Game.

 

 

Relegation Round

12:00 (5A-5B) Match 2 -  :DEN Denmark vs Belarus :BLR    (in Key Bank Center)

*Best-of-three Matches series. Game 2.

After the first match, Denmark is leading the Series 1-0,

**That in fact means, if Denmark win this match. the whole Relegation Round Series will be over and Denmark will stay in the top division also for the next edition, Belarus will be relegated to the next year´s U20 Division I Group A to replace Kazakhstan, promoted to the Top Division earlier in December´s Div IA tournament held in France.

***If Belarus win this match (No matter if in Regulation Time or after OT/GWS), they will tie the Series and a last third decisive match will be necessary tomorrow.

wow wow wow ! this was such huge thriller that ended by a incredibly weird Goaltending performance in the penalty shootouts session.

Denmark was leading 2-0 some 12 minutes to go, but then 2 their players were send to the penalty box and Belarus scored in both powerplays, including a very nice tic tac toe goal in the two mans advantage. so the match ended by 2-2, in the Overtime Belarus survived the entire 2 minutes Danes power play to put the match to the shoot-outs, but there had to submit to the opponent conceding 4 Goals from 5 attempts !!!  Denmark won the series 2-0 and send Belarus back to Division I A
