Typical SUI match, following their national team hockey games is sometimes really painful to watch, the hockey "cattenaccio" they play like this for years...but if you are a fan of defensive hockey this is definitely the team to watch

Well that brings me to a dilemma. I like goals, but I also like underdogs :p

but honestly I must admit that I am not and never was their biggest fan, since many times they kicked us out with their tactical hockey, ehm...just like this year they denied us the play-offs :p

but

Spoiler

I must also admit they are very good in what they do and they deserve where they are right now in the hockey world :d

meanwhile it´s1-1 now Bo Horvat equalized the score, hopefully SUI will re-open the game now a bit

here I am!

remember...the "perfect score" is always 0-0...also in the Hockey game...:pope::p:lol:

however, they don't play the real "catenaccio" (we, as Italians, have the copyright for that...also in Hockey -remember Bryan Lefley's ITA teams in the early 90s)...they're just realistic...they know they can't play a very open game against the powerhouses and try to take advantage of their qualities...

however, they're individually too good to say they play the "Italian style"...

p.s. it's "catenaccio"...only 1 "t" in the middle...;)

2nd power play goal for Switzerland. Now Gaetan Haas scored the goal deflecting the shoot of Andrighetto and punishing the 2min minor penalty of Nugent-Hopkins for hooking.

3-1 Switzerland

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
    • world champion Jessica Schilder opened her season up with 19.78 in France.
    • wait! what???   so, there won't be specialized double sculls, but those boats would have to feature 2 single specialists if a Nation wants to enter 2 proper singles M+W??? tell me I misread the expalaination...
