This defeat against was pretty much the last nail on China's coffin. If they manage a win versus Italy (very unlikely), then we could see a repeat of the 2016 scenario - with last Olympic final being now the QF match.

 

Scary moment at Brazil's match today with the injury of our best setter, but at least we secured second place - which doesn't mean anything, since all 4 qualifiers from Group B are stronger than the teams we've faced so far.

I don't see any possibility  win against Italy so most probably we are out. It is just like a nightmare and I don't know what happened to them after the VNL ends which destroyed them.
