heywoodu 15,250 Posted October 27, 2017 #92 Share Posted October 27, 2017 No Gabriela Koukalova in Östersund. She's still having too many problems with some muscles in her legs and will go to Finland for some extra training sessions to make up for the lost time this summer. Participation in the Olympics is 'in danger'. https://www.facebook.com/biathlon.inside/photos/a.1683656038583184.1073741829.1683575055257949/2051512428464208/?type=3&permPage=1 . justony 457 Posted October 27, 2017 #94 Share Posted October 27, 2017 Very sad news for Slovenian biathlon, basically we lost all chances to compete with our women's relay at the Olympics, and even mixed relay. It was 4 years later, but who know WADA rules say that every result from the time the positive sample was taken should be disqualified "until it is unfair to athlete concerned" They could take everything from 2010 to 2017 from her. But usually they just take the 2 years that she would have been banned for if she'd been caught when they tested the sample the first time. In this case 2010-2012 Link to comment https://totallympics.com/forums/topic/605-biathlon-2017-2018-discussion-thread/page/10/#findComment-102163 Share on other sites
