Great inspiration, he is. Not necessarily just sportswise. If possible, I do have quite a bit in savings, though that's mostly going towards university or travel. There should definitely be some things I can put aside, we'll have to wait and see. I do plan to get to a place with snow eventually, hopefully America or Europe for college. Have you ever thought about skiing? Do you actually have ties to Brazil? Or are you just a big fan

Good point Problem with that though is I'd rather buy one thing and stick with it as much as possible. Money is quite limited, and I don't own rollerskates of my own. Also good luck learning classic technique like that... oh god. Maybe I can become like the Montenegrins and only ski freestyle lol Guess for now I'll just go to the gym, I have a membership which is paid for anyway. dcro

Or are you just a big fan If I stand on ski, they're probably gonna break (not seriously, but you get the point) I have no ties to Brazil. On the biggest Dutch forum at every Olympics we have a thread where we support small or exotic nations (like I opened here for the 2016 Olympics), with 2010 being the first time I was on the forum at the Olympics. Since my then girlfriend is Brazilian, I chose Brazil and since then I've been sort of following their winter athletes Then in 2014 obviously I chose Brazil again and had some contact with Leandro Ribela, a year later I wrote an article about him and his project which he put on his Facebook page, followed by a certain Bruna (who was at the Raubichi biathlon YJWCH at that time, her first ever international competition) sending me a message on Facebook asking if I'm an athlete (haha) or a fan It all got more and more from there ahjfcshfghb 1 . Classic technique can most definitely be learned on rollerskis .

I actually tried that with my own roller skates few years ago, and I think I learned the skating technique rather well, considering that I used some odd wooden poles. I even tried the classic technique with that. #banbestmen
