I just saw the notification without knowing what's happening here :d

Melli means "national" . the word "team melli" some websites wrongly uses as the nickname simply means the "national team" !

So does the Iranian National Football have a nickname then?

giving nickname is not a common thing here. only few athletes have a nickname and I don't think any national team (in any sport) ever had a commonly used nickname. some clubs maybe but NTs nope

but since 2014 (if I'm not wrong about the year) there was a Cheetah on the NT jersey (I think they removed it recently) some journalists/fans started to call the team as "Yoozpalangan" (Means The Cheetahs) but still not commonly used.

so while everybody calls the Iran national football team as "Team Melli" (without football) . I don't think we can consider it a nickname :d

Our second night and a shorter episode today but not less of a cracker as we have @OlympicIRL in the Hot Seat today.

We welcome the initiator of TISC and three-time TISC, two-time TOISC winner from Ireland.

Pleased to be here in the hotseat. I am ready :)

Good evening. :d

So, you've been working on questions as well and you've checked most of mine - with the exception of today's stack.

Clearly, if it goes wrong, it's on me. :p

How did you experience the first night yesterday?

Yesterday was a lot of fun! But I was an innocent bystander then and now I am on the line and ready to sweat. But still, it should be fun!

I hope you're enjoying.

Now, would you like the safety net on Pts. 32,000 or the 4th lifeline?

The good news for you is, you'll have a spread of advice today. You can select one of the experts on the regular expert lifeline. If you were to choose the 4th, then all of them can discuss with you on a question.
