    • What I'm surprised at here is that the sunrise and sunset both change by 27/28 minutes over those two weeks, providing almost an hour more of sunlight from the beginning of the Games to the end. I didn't realize it changed that fast. Growing up in Canada, I always felt like one day in late October we suddenly got 4 hours less sunlight, and one day in early April we suddenly got 4 hours more.

    • He's a businessman and the world simply doesn't remember what the world looks like when USA adopts isolationism. Trump will get involved if only he can make a profit. And his #1 geopolitical enemy is China. Not Russia, North Korea or Iran but China. Modern society especially in Europe simply doesn't understand that becuse nobody is old enough to remember the Monroe Doctrine which predates fascism by a full century. I don't think even in USA they call James Monroe a fascist
    • Fans of FC Heidenheim making a lot of noise outside my front window just now.
    • Vast majority of Americans will disagree with you. That's all that counts. I dont see many differences in so called fascism between democrats and republicans. Both were bombing any country they picked, both were ruining systems they wanted to.  I prefer reds more because they are at least honest about it. Also, i dont like what this ultraliberalism brought to our whole Earth. Whoever opposes this level of insanity will have my vote.
    • YEC Semi-Finals are set:   Aryna Sabalenka vs Cori Gauff Barbora Krejcikova vs Zheng Qinwen   Krecikova beating Gauff in two sets means Iga Świątek was eliminated with 2-1 record. Sabalenka clinched Year-End #1 after winning the first two matches and Świątek not winning all three RR matches before already.
    • He is fascist. Even use the same narration like famous german/Austrian painter.

    • I remember a couple of years during the athletics worlds in Oregon one of the British athletes wasn’t able to enter the US due to visa issues. I feel like something similar will happen in LA, and I don’t envisage Trump succumbing to an appeal to let an unfortunate athlete in.
    • thats true. If anyone observes the US election map then he can see that Harris dominated in NorthEast states and the Eastern Coast, exactly where the big economic centres are based (New York, New Jersey, Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco etc).   Also what i observe regarding politics in western europe is that Socialdemocratic/centre-left parties have become extremely pro-market and even neo-liberal and some traditional right parties have become euroscepticist and protectionist, exactly the opposite as it was in 70s-80s
