All of a sudden they're including the 5k classic in the FIS points calculation?! That can't be right (or even remotely fair), they should look only at today's 5k time like they normally do..

I wish they'd have a major international competition in these kind of conditions ever again..

Ah that was just a mistake, on FIS' website they've done it right and there I also see that out of 62 athletes, Bruna had the 45th time, just...wow :bowdown::bowdown:

The 1500m women's track record is still held by Karin Kania, I didn't think I'd ever again see speed skating on a track where the current records were set by athletes I only know of the stories from long ago before I was born :d

Are you sure it's Karin Kania? It could be Karin Enke, Karin Busch or Karin Richter too? :p

Karin Enke-Richter now, Karin Kania (or Enke-Kania or Kania-Enke) at that time :d 

 

Kania is how she's known at least here in the Netherlands :p
