They lost their London 2012 bronze medalist Chorieva today and their only remaining chance here is Qurbonov in -91kg... At the moment they still have only 1 athlete qualified (men's hammer throw) and it looks as though they will really struggle to come anywhere near the number of 16 athletes, which they had in 2012. #banbestmen Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Meanwhile, Tajikistan's horror story continues as Qurbonov fails to qualify. They had 4 boxers and 4 wrestlers in 2012 and now they have 0 in both after Asian qualifications.
