Paulína with 8th fastest skiing time !!! wow congrats Paulína ! this was very very very succesful race for us, something like this didn´t happened for a f....g long while

pitty once again with our miserable shooting, I don´t even want to try to imagine what ranks we would have today with perfect shooting...pitty for this shooting, but maybe it would be too much :p

Interesting, this is what I read:

First news tell that Marie Dorin-Habert felt dizzy on the track and decided to stop. She walked off the stadium on her feet #PYC17

The shooting was not miserable, only Poliakova missed three, whilst others missed 2 and 1. It was probably the best race for Slovakian women in a long while, but you're still not satisfied. I think your standards are too high for the women's/men's team to keep up with your demand for results.

Team Lithuania exceeded expectations today, because I didn't think we would get into the pursuit with the women, cause they're beyond horrible this season. Kočergina had 36th ski-speed, so that's fairly promissing, too bad she can't climb in the pursuit, cause she is probably the worst shot in the top 60.

    • The only ones complaining about the short track refs are Italians, imo. Not even on this forum, but in general, from what I've been seeing on live chats and other social media sites. That says a lot to be honest. I suspect it's partially due to them not performing to the high standard they're expected to perform at especially at the Olympics. The refs make a lot of mistakes for everyone, there's no bias against or towards anyone    Plus, Italy have won 6 medals already.... the most you've won at a Worlds since 2016.
    • For me they gave Canada the gold in the relay in exchange for a 1000-meter dsq gold for Dandjinou, that's how I see it. It was a battle between Kor and Can on 2 of this case. It's hard to say why that last dsq for Kor was in relay? Of course, Italy win bronze thanks for that, but that's not really important. It would have been better if the referees had just stayed out of the results and left it as it was decided for fight on the ice.

    • the quata for europe or australia is from the primer 12, where the top 20 teams will participate, sadly  is the 21th team so the only slight chance for us in my opinion is if: we get top 2 at the european championship (not including  hopefully if they get the quata), then somehow win the final qualification tournament against i assume  and one of    the chances for us are slim, i think about 4 other team sports  have a better chance in in my opinion(and the most team sports we ever had was one, and it was the last two time after a long time )

    • well, Cuba and Venezuela for sure...   Iran is a different question, but I hope in 2 years all this war shit is done and dusted and at least in the sports world everything is gonna be OK
    • In my opinion the Italian team has been playing above expectations since last year after several years of decline. Last year, we advanced to the first division at the European Championships and now they're playing very close matches against the strong India and Scotland. We a little miss a potential to do more – we are only 18th in the world rankings. Our men's team's performance in this sport is much weaker.
