Awesome to see a WC event in Squaw Valley.

 

It's quite possible that this is the first big alpine skiing event in Squaw Valley since the 1960 Winter Olympics!

Adriana Jelinkova only 0.25s out of top 30. so close of points maybe tomorrow will be the day.

 

btw very nice 1st run of Petra Vlhová 10th after 1st run, lets see if she will beat her pb and the national Giant slalom best (8th place)

At least 10 times it looked like she was either going to fall or she was going very slow but she was actually pretty fast

Some people have been on podium in slalom despite having the whole second run without pole AND glove.
