Only top 10 in doubles are automatically in. All other entries are sort of a compromise and ranking combinations (singles or doubles).

Isner is saying he is also skipping olympics. He says no ranking points is a big reason.

Olympics always been second to the grand slams but this is getting ridiculous.  Its the olympics!!   Its not like soccer where younger teams play.  Wouldnt surprise me if tennis will be attempted to be taken off the schedule for tokyo or 2024
