Took a look on our National TV schedule and yeah as expected once the M hockey tournament start it is going to be all hockey 

 

Almost all games live on main TV channel and believe it or not 20 minutes of Shorttrack   https://www.stvr.sk/program?date=2026-02-12

HBO Max finally launched the Milano-Cortina main page on their platform. Was about time, I sterted to worry a bit

Discovery+ in the UK have also got their schedule up now.  

 

I notice that only thing listed as being in UHD is the Opening Ceremony though....

China Media Group (CMG) will broadcast all 116 gold medal events of the Milan Winter Olympics live on CCTV-1, CCTV-5, CCTV-5+ and CCTV-16. It will also use technologies such as 4K/8K ultra-high definition to enhance the viewing experience. Live broadcasts of all events will be carried out from 16:00 Beijing time to 06:00 the next day.

Seems I was wrong on that, Discovery etc has a separate UHD stream for the Alpine training tomorrow.

No streaming for the games in India. I contacted IOC they just sent me a list where the games will be shown live. 

 

Last games we had the Olympic channel and YouTube showing the live coverage for regions with no media rights. This time sadly no such schedule.

 

So much about making the games accessible to all...

Looks like we in the Philippines are in the same situation. No news yet on whether we’ll be able to watch the Games

Yes which means no way we can watch it. I have no hope now unless they change plan and decide to stream on Olympic Channel.

And in fact going further into it what we have on UHD in the pre-Games slot

 

Alpine downhill training

One featured curling match per session

One ice hockey game per time slot

 

And then once the games start, not everything, but at least several UHD transmission per day.
