Alpine Skiing, men and women's GS:  Ingemar Stenmark and  Deborah Compagnoni, to me still the greatest GS specialists of all time (with all respect for the many other great skiers that won at least 1 GS Olympic Gold)

 

Short Track Speedskating, men's 500m:  Wu Daijing, to me the only true specialist of this distance to win the Olympic Gold, as people like Hamelin or Ohno were more all rounders, even middle/long distance specialists than pure sprinters. the Chinese man represents more the "wow" effect of this specific event

 

Ski Jumping, men's Normal Hill:  Matti Nykaenen, the GOAT of ski jumping. if only he had the attitude, we'd be still here saying his records will never be broken...and instead
