The African qualifiers begin today to decide two of the last five remaining slots (the other three will go to Asian national teams). If I had to make a prediction, I would say Zimbabwe and Uganda, which has been growing a lot recently (and unfortunately is also causing Italy more difficulty than expected in the race for ODI status).

Is it official? Until yesterday, there was talk of the possibility of playing them in Sri Lanka.

 

PS. Excellent performance by the Azzurri, they could even have won.
