Is the "good stuff" 6% at least? Anything under 6% is basically considered shite in Poland/Germany/Czechia.

Bud at 3.9% or sth is not good enough for a mouth wash :p

Oh buddy, how high do you want it to be? Every grocery store (in states that allow the sell of alcohol in grocery stores >.> ) is gonna have beers in the 10-12% range, highest I’ve had personally was 20% but that’s obviously exceptional.

Also random, but am in a pizza place on my way back from short track and… why the fuck does "pizza Americana" have fries on it? Americans would not be caught dead putting fries on pizza xD

Americana is just a name...;)

by the way, do they have the pineapple pizza on their menu or it's one of those places who refuse to cook it? 🤭

It’s typically American if your only exposure to America is central New Jersey :P

(I actually like New Jersey, but it def has by far the trashiest food culture in the US)

and the true mobster culture, too 😈

I don’t get the dislike for Hawaiian pizza (another weirdly named pizza, it’s a Canadian thing) tbh. Ham and pineapple is a classic combo for a reason, ham needs some sweetness and acidity to taste good.

Surely American beer is the biggest trash in "food" category :p

American beer is just dirty water (like American coffee) 🥳

You do definitively feel the Italian influence in New Jersey. Italian Americans have a pretty interesting culture.

Eh, the coffee in Milan isn’t really any better than the coffee I’ve had in Seattle or Dallas (and still haven’t found a spot as good as the best coffee shop I went to in Tokyo). It’s cheaper tho!

The main issue with good coffee in the US is that it’s very much a luxury good. I’ve paid more than 10€ (inc tax and tip) for coffee in Seattle >.>

ham and pineapple might be a good combo (still, I only like pineapple as a fruit, not used with salted ingredients), but pineapple and tomato is just uneatable 🤮

didn't go to the right places, then 😉

however, the true best Neapolitan coffee is made with a small machinery called "moka" , not that thing you find in bars and restaurants ☝️
