By the way, those shot % by position are really interesting. USA's only standout is their lead, at #1 at the moment, while lead, #2 and vice are 7th, 8th, and 9th. seems USA would hardly have any wins at all without that lead performing so spectacularly. Maybe that lead should be skip next time. -

thank you, went to that link, and I did find DSC under the PDF Reports section. It agrees with the wikipedia stats I posted above. Now the most crucial open question is exactly what is the procedure for implementing Head to Head tiebreak when 3 teams are tied. Is this in writing anywhere? It would seem among USA, NOR and ITA, all three are at 1-1 vs. each other, so I assume DSC comes into play and USA becomes semifinalist #4. But if GER also finishes 4-5, then both USA and GER would be 2-1 vs. the other three, while ITA and NOR would be 1-2 vs. the other three. Then again breaking the tie between USA and GER requires going to DSC, where USA again prevails by a quite wide margin and becomes semifinalist #4.

4 Not a great Games for Canada, but at least we pulled it out in hockey today. Some competitions (freeski big air) are amazing, but some are not (slopestyle today). A lot of the ice events are hindered by having terrible ice, which affects the competition. Not a lot of fun underdog stories, a lot of predictable results. It's okay, but not very exciting. Positively, the images are great and everything seems to be running as smoothly as possible. The crowds are lots of fun. -

It Is due to money. USA TV bought evening time slot. All their matches are in evening. Due to it, as i wrote they have advantage of fans of USA and also Canada knew in which time they will play QF before start of tournament (and they could buy tickets in advance) -
I'm pretty interested in how this will turn out, I assume most people never got to watch this, let's see if we have a chance tomorrow. -
