It feels right that Shiffrin has two Olympic golds in slalom, being far and away the greatest of all time in this discipline.

 

Rast takes silver in spite of hating the slope 

 

(And she's 100% right, this slope just does not sui slalom at all; the one they used for the 2021 WCh was miles better)

 

Glad for Swenn-Larsson, but you have to feel for Oehlund, so unlucky

This is the fourth biggest winning margin in women's OG slalom history. 1956 & 1960 both won by over 3 seconds but other than that only Vreni Schneider in 1988 was bigger (1.68).
