  Von Allmen with his 3rd gold of the Olympics in super-G, he's one of only three men to achieve this feat, and the last time it happened in alpine skiing was back in 1968 with Killy!

However, considering Sui-Ita's dominance this season, their 3-0 record in gold medals is too brutal for us. We didn't take advantage of our own snow. It is confirmed that we have always had a very difficult time in the Winter Games.

If we're talking victories, there is no "Sui-Ita dominance".

 

Switzerland has won 12 races, Italy has won 2 (7-2 in downhill + super G).

Da Wengen in poi, è stato un dominio di queste due nazioni: Franzoni ha vinto due volte: Wengen SG e Kitzbühel DH. La mancanza di oro e zero medaglie oggi è un po' un peccato. Senza l'errore nel Settore 2, Franzoni avrebbe dato il peggio di sé, chiudendo 2-3. Tuttavia, bisogna ammettere che von Allmen non commette simili errori quando necessario: ha fatto peggio nella combinata, ma ha comunque vinto l'oro.
