Results show as official now with no DQ. I didn’t catch the changeover you mentioned but Olatunde on the last wasn’t going to be DQd for his lane infringement as it was on the straight and no one was near him.

I’m not too worried about the points as we are going to finish around 5th-7th but would be a shame to lose the NR so I’m glad for that

Irish incoming runner on Change 2 did contact the Austrian outgoing runner after passing the baton, but obviously the judges ruled it trivial.

4th from Galvydytė, there's a chance this might be the best Lithuanian effort here, unless Jasiūnaitė, Gudžius or Matusevičius have something to say about it

Avoiding relegation was always going to be an uphill battle for us, but especially after we got 0 points in the men's pole vault due to Karalis' DNS  especially with no Mondo, he probably would've been expected to get 16 points.

 

However, some of our others stepped up so far with PBs (Iosifidou, Anastasakis - especially since Spyrou isn't competing who is by far our best at 5000m this year, Gkaragkanis) so far.

 

And of course the CR from Tentoglou for 16 points, really impressive after how poor he's been this year compared to his normal level. Maybe he's finally back?!

 

Also disappointing showing from Korakidis in the men's hammer throw, just shows our federation made a mistake by not sending one of Mantzouranis/Zaltos who are both over 78m this year...

Netherlands was really unlucky, Smidt I think had a fainting spell or a muscle problem. Still a zero.
