We usually don’t have our absolute A team in this event but still with the SBs of our entrants they should be well placed. But not sure what on earth they are doing. Couldn’t have scripted a more distatrous start

Nah, I know it doesnt feel like it but it is fine, Mockler was 2 spots behind where he was ranked on seasons best, Shane Howard was one spot above, Crossan was a couple of spots behind but did run a pb (Should have picked Victoria Amiadamen but sure look). Dewhirst pulled up injured, everyone will have one or two of those although Dewhirst was one where he had a real shot of outperforming his ranking. Womens pole vault is not going to help much but we are grand like.

Someone has to explain me why Zapletalová was not lined in the 400 Hurdles ??? What a professional fault from our team. You have a girl who will win it even with closed eyes but no ! hey why use such force, lets have a pity and line her only in the 400 flat which she did run once on her life

You’re right! Not sure what was happening but I was seeing Howard with no mark. Just a pity about Dewhirst!

Any idea what’s happening with our promising young long jumper Reece Ademola? Haven’t seen or heard anything of him in quite a while.
